9.2 KM – 950 D+

A concentrated mountain experience

Starting from Caux, La Cadette is a mountain concentrate where discovery is the watchword. This 9.2 km route with 950 m of vertical gain is the ideal springboard for getting started with alpine terrain. From forest trails to mountain paths overlooking Lake Geneva, experience an authentic ascent to the summit of Rochers-de-Naye.

Sunday, June 7, 2026 in Caux (Chemin de la Patinoire). The start will be given at 9:30 AM.

Distance

9.2 km of ascent offering a real challenge, regardless of your level.

Elevation gain

An elevation gain of 950 meters on a compact course.

Finish

At the foot of the Rochers-de-Naye Hotel (1,981 m).

Terrain types

The course includes 49% asphalt road, 17% track, 34% trail.

Prices vary depending on the registration date:

  • Until February 28: CHF 40.–
  • March 1 to April 30: CHF 50.–
  • From May 1: CHF 60.–

🎽 RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT
No mandatory equipment.
Warning: The finish line is at nearly 2,000m. Conditions can change quickly.

  • Sun: Cap, sunglasses, sunscreen.
  • Unstable weather: Warm clothes and a windbreaker are recommended.

  • ✅ ALLOWED: Walking and Nordic Walking categories.
  • 🚫 FORBIDDEN: All Runner categories.

📬 HOME DELIVERY
Option to be selected during registration (CHF 3.–).
Restricted to Swiss residents.

📍 ON-SITE PICKUP
Location: Marché Couvert (Montreux).

  • Saturday: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
  • Sunday morning: From 6:00 AM

⚠️ IMPORTANT: No bib distribution at the start in Caux! You must go to Montreux before heading up.

🏁 START
Location: Caux (Route de la Patinoire).
Time: 9:30 AM (All categories).

🚌 FREE SHUTTLE (Montreux → Caux)
The Glion–Caux road is closed to traffic from 8:00 AM.
A free shuttle is available from Montreux.

  • 🕗 First departure: 8:00 AM
  • ⏱️ Last departure: 8:45 AM

👉 Tip: Take an early shuttle to avoid stress.

🍎 ON THE COURSE
5 aid stations are located along the ascent.

On the menu:

  • Mineral water and sports drinks.
  • Energy bars.
  • Fresh fruit (oranges, lemons, apples, bananas).

⏱️ TIME LIMIT
Control closure at Rochers-de-Naye: 1:30 PM.
Participants arriving after this time will not be ranked.

🚞 RUNNER'S RETURN TRIP
Descent by cogwheel train included (upon presentation of the bib).

🎟️ SUPPORTER TICKETS (Reduced price)
Purchase during the runner's registration:

  • Adults: CHF 40.–
  • Children (up to 16 years): CHF 20.–
  • Children (up to 6 years): Free

⚠️ VALIDITY ZONE
Valid ONLY on the Montreux–Les Rochers-de-Naye line.
🚫 Not valid on the GoldenPass line (Les Avants).

📍 MANDATORY PICKUP
Train tickets are never sent by mail.
Mandatory pickup at the Information stand (Marché Couvert) before the start.

Every Finisher will receive the 2026 souvenir prize at the finish line.
